Bowler: A player from the fielding team who delivers the ball to the batsman. Distinguished as:
Fast Bowler: A bowler who bowls at a high speed, typically generating bounce and pace off the pitch.
Medium Pace Bowler: A bowler who bowls at a moderate speed, combining some pace with movement off the pitch.
Spin Bowler: A bowler who specializes in delivering spin on the ball, causing it to deviate off the pitch.
In-swing: When the ball swings into the batsman, typically delivered by a fast bowler angling the shiny side of the ball towards the batsman.
Out-swing: When the ball swings away from the batsman, typically delivered by a fast bowler angling the shiny side of the ball away from the batsman.
Yorker: A delivery bowled at the batsman's feet, often difficult to dig out and play.
